39 barangays in SJDM, now with 98 patients under monitoring for COVID-19

As of March 16, 2020, the total number of patients under monitoring (PUMs) increased to 98, according to SJDM Public Information Office's official tally.


The total number is from District 1 and District 2 of City of San Jose del Monte.


In District 1, there are 17 barangays with PUMs including Muzon, Graceville, Kaypian, Dulong Bayan, Francisco Homes-Yakal, Francisco Homes-Mulawin, Francisco Homes-Guijo, Sto. Cristo, San Roque, San Isidro, Paradise III, Gumaoc East, Gumaoc West, Tungkong Mangga, Gaya-Gaya, San Manuel, and Ciudad Real.


In District 2, there are 22 barangays with PUMs including Sta. Cruz IV and V, Sapang Palay Proper, Fatima I-V Citrus, Minuyan I, III and V, Minuyan Proper, San Rafael I, Assumption, San Martin I, San Martin De Porres, Sto. Niño II, Lawang Pari, Bagong Buhay II and III, and San Pedro.


Patients under monitoring from the 39 barangays have travel history in the locations that recently have travel restrictions or exposed to confirmed COVID-19 cases or both, but asymptomatic or showing no symptoms.


On the other hand, there are 5 patients under investigation (PUIs), and 2 positive cases in Barangay Graceville and Barangay Muzon.
