President Rodrigo Duterte declared an "enhanced community quarantine" over the entire Luzon that takes part in containing the spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
This order comes after the President approved to raise the alert level to Code Red Sub-level 2 and implementing community quarantine over Metro Manila.
Enhanced community quarantine means that transportation will be suspended, provision for food and essential health services shall be regulated and the presence of uniformed personnel to enforce quarantine procedures will be heightened will be implemented.
President Duterte announced the following order after a meeting with the government inter-agency task force that leads the country's response over the virus outbreak.
