FCPC suspends classes until March 24, 2020

Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Echel Simon-Antero released a memo, March 11, Wednesday that classes in tertiary level shall be suspended until March 24, 2020. The cancellation of classes was said to deter possible transmission of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) within the two-week incubation period. The memo indicates that starting March 12-24, all faculty shall give lessons and assessments through blended learning using Google Classroom or Facebook Messenger to continuously engage the students. The VPAA advise the students to stay at home during this period. If students exhibit symptoms of the virus, they have to seek medical assistance immediately. Students who will exhibit symptoms upon resumption of classes will not be allowed to attend. Resumption of classes will be on March 25, 2020. Finals week will be on April 13-19, 2020.
