The strongest earthquake yet following the Taal Volcano's eruption struck off Agoncillo, Batangas on Sunday evening, Philvolcs said.
According to the state seismology report, the volcanic earthquake happened at 11:56 p.m. at around 7 kilometers northeast of Agoncillo town with a depth of 8 kilometers.
The tremor was not expected to cause damage and aftershocks, Philvolcs added.
Meanwhile, Philvolcs also confirmed a series of earthquakes in Batangas after the reported 4.1 magnitude earthquake.
