PUP-ISTR creates local version of ethyl alcohol

Polytechnic University of the Philippines- Institute for Science and Technology Research (ISTR) creates a local version of ethyl alcohol that corresponds with the standards of Food and Drug Administration.

The materials being used in the alcohol were raw and if the university find resources the production of the alcohol will start.

The expected start of the production will be before the month of March ends and the target amount to produce is 20 gallons every month.
