Senator Juan Miguel Zubiri tested positive for coronavirus disease (COVID-19), Monday, March 16.
Several media networks have reported Monday evening that the Senator was confirmed to have infected from the disease.
The Senator confirmed the news on a Facebook post from his page saying that he tested positive for COVID-19.
He had taken a test last Friday while on self quaratine and received a call from Senator Duque about his condition.
According to the Senator, he will stay locked in isolation for 10 days until he get checked once again.
