SJDM now confirmed with 2 new COVID-19 cases

As of Sunday, March 15, the city of San Jose del Monte in Bulacan already have 2 confirmed cases of the COVID-19.


SJDM Public Information Office confirmed it in a Facebook post.



According to the City Health Office (CHO), the first case is from Barangay Graceville, reported on Tuesday, March 10, while the second case is from Barangay Muzon, reported on Sunday, March 15. Both are confined in an undisclosed hospital in the National Capital Region (NCR).


Meanwhile, the health officials are conducting contact tracing for possible transmission of the new coronavirus disease starting from the recent patients.


The city officials also conducted disinfection procedures within the community.


Due to the additional COVID-19 case, the authorities declared that the City of San Jose del Monte is now under city-wide quarantine. This order follows the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) Resolution 11 Series of 2020.


SJDM Public Information Office also advised the public to stay calm and follow the reminders of the authorities such as those in the City Government of San Jose del Monte, City Health Office, and Department of Health.
