Taal volcano's alert level remains at 2, says PHIVOLCS

Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology released a statement today regarding the condition of Taal volcano indicating that the alert level of the volcano is still at level 2.

According to the statement, the main crater emits a sudden stream-laden pumes that rose 300 meters high above between 9:00 p.m. yesterday and 3:00 a.m. today.

PHIVOLCS reminded the public that entry into TVI, Taal's Permanent Danger Zone, must be strictly prohibited.
