Youngest COVID-19 patient reported in PH at age 13

A Filipino girl age 13-year-old is one of the latest recorded cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) as of Sunday noon.


The Department of Health (DOH) released a data that indicates Patient 135 is a Quezon City resident that said to be the youngest confirmed case so far. The patient had no history of travel or exposure to known COVID-19 cases.


The patient started showing symptoms on March 4 and was confirmed to have COVID-19 on Sunday.


The DOH is still confirming where the patient is confine.


She is one of the 29 new confirmed cases confirmed by DOH on Sunday that brings the total number of cases in the country to 140.
